TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
